Nhu Xuan Hua
Sense of Vertigo
These clean photographies inspired me to come out with the Fitting concept: a flower tied with white bands of cloth. There is a notion of balance in these photos that I appreciate greatly.

Wear Me Like Water
SS 20
I fell in love with these set of photos the moment I saw them. The reflection of the water and the clothes flowing. The soft colours of the clothing and the sunlight. There is a diversity of models, whether it be colour of the skin or shape/size and I admire the creators for doing such thing.

Merry Go Round
fashion boutiques advertisement from the 1980s
A dim contrast background but overall little brightness. But saturation is high and warmth as well. It has an interesting use of space and dimensions. The colours go harmoniously and are coordinated with the writing.

Audrey Flack
Jolie Madame
A still life painting by Audrey Flack. Many would turn their head and say it is a picture but this work was one that pioneered the photorealism movement.
A excessive amount of element: perfume, jewellery, flasks and apples that conveys a modern approach to still life.

Masahisa Fukase
from Masahisa Fukase: Bukubuku (2004)
The lighting, the reflection on the water, the bubbles. There is such a vivacity in these pictures, such power. Every picture is so magnetic and I am fond of every single aspect of it. There is no need for a big-budgeted set with a high quality camera and gadgets. A bathtub, a model (any model really) and yourself and your camera.

Hassan Hajjaj
Colours, Patterns, Fun. His photography/works are the epitome of the latter. The framed pictures was a twist that I had not seen previously and I think it added a nice touch to the already energetic photos.

Vogue
1989 September Issue
The grainy texture and the highly exposed, almost-oversaturated picture of the Vogue cover. The 1980s pictures are a delight to see as one, they convey the advance of technology and two, give us a different approach on fashion and photography.

Steve Cutts
Social Media Zombies
Zombies glued to their phone. It represents how our world is become more virtual and our eyes turn only towards our phones. It is a global phenomenon and I appreciated how the artist represented this addiction with zombies. It is also a way to show our transformation into zombies, the only light source: a phone, really.
